A Chapter by Chapter Journey through Luke’s Account of Jesus’ Life, Ministry, and Mission
This teaching series is part of our Sunday Night Bible Study at Rolling Hills Community Church in Lago Vista, Texas. Led by Dr. Gary Olsen, former Lead Pastor of Rolling Hills and a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary (D.Min.) and Nashotah House (M.Div.), alongside Chris Reighley, this study takes listeners deep into the Gospel of Luke—exploring its historical reliability, theological richness, and powerful call to discipleship.
Luke, the beloved physician and faithful companion of the Apostle Paul, presents Jesus as the Savior of all people—highlighting His compassion for the outsider, His power over creation, and His unwavering journey to the cross. As the only Gentile author in the New Testament, Luke writes with a historian’s care and a disciple’s devotion, giving us a Gospel marked by clarity, structure, and Spirit-inspired detail.
This series emerged from the momentum of The Last Week of Jesus study and is part of a larger exploration that includes: The Book of Acts, Is There Life After Acts for Paul?, and Is There Life After Acts for Luke?. Each lesson is designed to help you walk with Jesus, think biblically, and live faithfully in light of His grace and truth.
