On Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descends with power, enabling the apostles to speak in various languages. Peter delivers a bold sermon, proclaiming Jesus as the risen Messiah. Three thousand souls are added, and the early church begins to gather, devoted to teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer.
