Paul receives a vision of a man from Macedonia, and the team sets sail for Philippi. There, Lydia, a God-fearing woman, becomes the first convert in Europe. After casting out a spirit from a slave girl, Paul and Silas are jailed, but a midnight earthquake leads to the conversion of the jailer and his household. The gospel breaks new ground, even in prison cells.
